A flash in the darkness

We had some folks over last night, and got out the flash and stool, which is always good for some interactive art. Some of the more interesting results...

A self portrait. I might have to use this one somewhere...

You haven't posted anything since April. You shouldn't give up on the second blog. It's interesting to know there is a motorcycle part out there that is called a "shock rotor". :-)

I haven't given up on it.... It's just been crazy, trying to find time to write for it! But thanks for the encouragement. Much needed.

"Shock rotor" refers to the two pieces of the image that I started with: a rear shock absorber, and a brake rotor. (The big springy thingy and the big round thingy.) "Shock rotor" does roll off the tongue, though, doesn't it?

Sure! (Shrugging) I have no idea really I don't think I am very mechanically inclined. I was just pretending to know what I was talking about. But anyway, no problem. I am sure you are busy taking care of the missus and the kid. She's adorable by the way, with her all her "pling".
